Dyl has been traveling the Carolina's visiting and meeting family and friends. First stop was the other weekend to the Isle of Palms to see Pop-Pop and Nana and see Great-Granddad too. Here are some photos.
On the beach, of course, with Nana and Pop-Pop.
Learning about the waves from Pop-Pop. Did you know Dylann means "of the waves/of the sea"? Surely we will break out the surf board soon.
With her Moma on the beach.
Listening to one of Great-Granddad's many stories. He is an old Irishman, so when I say many, I really do mean many!
With Nana and Pop-Pop at her "cousin" Matt's wedding. (She is trying to pick Nana's nose.)
Then we headed with Dad the following weekend down to the NC beaches to visit Great-Nanny and Great-Papa. Uncle Christopher and Aunt Sissy came too!
Who is that guy in the background?
And we couldn't leave with out visiting Mr. Danny at Chuck E Cheese's (thanks for the T-Shirt!!). Dylann has never seen such a place!
Enjoying the concert.
Future Ski-Ball Champ!
But this post is about visiting family, so back to that... We came home but not for long. Today we headed to Greensboro to visit Great-Uncle Mike and Great-Aunt Judy and got to go out on the boat with Dylann's 2nd Cousin/God-Sister, Kaylee (and her parents!) Along the way we met up with G and Papa Simp, and Dylann got to meet the Simpson family and GREAT-GREAT Moma Preston.
Gracie, Kaylee's dog. Good thing she is sweet. She could probably swallow Dyl whole if she wanted.
Learning about boating from Kaylee.
Had to try Daddy's favorite BBQ along the way.
The whole Simpson Crew with Great-Great Moma Preston in the middle.
And now we are finally home - for a while!!
